Perfect quote – I read and loved all the Anne of Green Gables books, but so long ago. I agree that often seedheads are as striking as the flowers.

I wondered about reading the books again after reading that quote but they probably wouldn’t be the same now and I don’t want to spoil my good memories. 🙂
